Description
Seamless 1/48 B-24 Liberator turrets Fir the Monogram kits are back in production. Repackaged for greater versatility. This Wild Sau Resin set gives you three of the most used turrets installed on the D and J version kits. Seamkess domes. No unrealistic, unsightly joint seam created by molding in two halves. These turrets also have interiors instead of machine guns captured between halves with no other interior details. You will get a Emerson nose turret, a A6 turret often used in the tail position as well as the nose position. Lastly included is a open air A6 turret for the rear position. A modification made by removing machine gun wind deflectors as in thevrear of the plane, eind was not a issue for these turrets. Take your Liberator model to a higher level then the competition. When I get your order, I do print off a shipping label. You will get notification of this. It does not mean your item has shipped! The shipping label printed is used for my benefit to keep me on track for what I must produce.
Ebay has instituted "managed payments" for all sellers. Buyers no longer pay sellers directly. Buyers pay Ebay. Ebay processes your payment and then sends on to buyers bank accounts. This process takes approximately 4 to 5 days for your payment to reach me. Please be kind and pay for your items promptly. I reserve the right to cancel any sale and block any buyer not paying within 24 hours of purchase. Sorry, it's a new world for sellers. Pay after you hit "Buy It Now." Thank you.
I know many of you have your noses buried in models and may not know there is a worldwide viral pandemic going on that is causing all kinds of havoc on once simple things in life. Slower shipping, and supply chain difficulties. I am not immune to these issues. I do have extended shipping and handling times. But do allow for these other unavoidable facts of life we all must deal with.
I suggest experience with resin aftermarket parts as a must. I designed this set to be as builder friendly as I could. As with all cottage industry aftermarket resin you will have to do some parts clean up. Also prepare yourself for the possibility of a part arriving warped. I do try to make every attempt at carefully planned packing to avoid this happening. However things go katywhompass, a 20 second shot with a blow dryer set on high heat will revert the part back to it's original shape. Use CA (super glue) or epoxy to secure resin to plastic. I further recomend a well appointed spares box. always a good thing to have when kitbashing. A Dremel grinder, razor saw, #11 Xacto knife, adhesive backed sanding disk mounted to a glass panel are good things to have ready for use.
