vintage 1940's FRONTENAC BEER promotional advertising 4.0" diameter round two-piece covered aluminum ashtray
.  This ashtray belonged to my in-laws before it came into my possession and subsequently part of my vintage ashtray collection.
The vintage ashtray is silver colored satin finish aluminum and weighs approximately 2.0 ounces by itself and measures approximately 4.0" in diameter and stands approximately 2-1/8" high.  The ashtray has (2) two smooth indents to rest the cigarettes in and keep them from rolling around while sitting in the ashtray.  Please refer to description photos # 11 and # 12 to confirm the size dimensions and for more details about what I have described.
The ashtray has the
FRONTENAC BEER
brand name advertising printed in bold black lettering on two sides of the top along the circumference of the ashtray rim.  The black lettering retains most of their coloring with scattered minor spots of paint loss due to age and use over the years.  Please refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described.
The ashtray is a genuine piece of vintage breweriana memorabilia that remains in good condition with only minor surface blemishes and a few small dents as can be verified in the description photos.  The outside metal surface remains in nice condition despite obvious signs of age and having been used in the distant past.  The inside of the ashtray is also in good condition.  Please refer to the description photos to confirm the condition of the ashtray and for more details about what I have described.
The top of the ashtray is removable so the contents inside the bottom half can be discarded and cleaned if and when necessary.  Please refer to description photos # 8, # 9 and # 10 for more details about what I have described.  As previously stated, this ashtray has not been used in decades and was only displayed among my other vintage ashtrays.
Overall, this vintage ashtray is a very nostalgic piece of breweriana and Canadian history.  The ashtray is a genuine survivor from a bygone era and a historic brewery.  I am certain any vintage ashtray and/or breweriana memorabilia collector would appreciate acquiring this beautiful ashtray for their collection and display.
